Refund Policy

Short version: If you're not satisfied with your Pro subscription within 14 days of purchase, email us for a full refund — no questions asked.
1. Free Tier
Contract Scanner offers a free tier with up to 5 analyses per month. No payment is required, and therefore no refund applies to free tier usage.
2. Pro Subscription — 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day full refund on all new Pro subscriptions. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase and we will issue a full refund with no questions asked.
Eligibility
- Request must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date
- Applies to the first billing period only — renewal charges are not eligible for refund under this guarantee
- One refund per customer
How to Request a Refund
Send an email to [email protected] with:
- Subject line: Refund Request
- The email address used to purchase
- Your order number (found in your Paddle receipt email)
We will process your refund within 3 business days. The refund will be returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take 5–10 additional business days to appear on your statement.
3. Renewal Charges
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. We send a reminder email 7 days before each renewal. If you wish to cancel, you can do so at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.
Refunds for renewal charges are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you were charged after forgetting to cancel, contact us within 48 hours of the charge and we will review your request.
4. Exceptions
We reserve the right to decline refund requests in the following cases:
- Accounts found to be in violation of our Terms of Service
- Requests submitted after the 14-day window has passed
- Fraudulent or duplicate refund requests
- Refund requests for the same account that have already been processed once
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. After cancellation:
- You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged again
- Your account reverts to the free tier automatically
